Privacy policy
This policy explains the information used to provide private conversations, reader accounts, purchases and the Direct Web Edition.

Information we use
We may process your name, email address, account identifier, purchase and refund references, book entitlement, reading position, support messages and basic security records such as time, browser and network information. If you use the reader-question form, we also process the question, chapter, location and any optional age, gender, profession or phone details you choose to provide. The payment provider processes payment credentials; we do not store your complete card number, UPI PIN, bank password or payment OTP.
Why we use it
We use information to create and secure your account, verify payment, place the purchased book in My Library, remember reading progress, provide support and respond to reader questions by email. We also use necessary records to prevent misuse, maintain service records and meet legal obligations. Reader-question details are not used for marketing without separate consent. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Information may be handled by carefully selected providers needed for website hosting, payment processing, transactional email, security and support. They receive only the information reasonably required for their role and operate under their own legal and security obligations.
Retention and security
Purchase and entitlement records may be retained while access is active and for any additional period needed for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention or law. Unneeded verification data is removed or anonymised on a reasonable schedule. No internet service can promise absolute security, but access controls, secret separation and server-side verification are used to reduce risk.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct or delete eligible personal information, or raise a privacy concern, by writing from the email associated with your account. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law or to establish a valid purchase.
