Purpose
Discovering Why You Wake Up Every Morning
“Purpose is not found once in life. It evolves as we evolve.”
Introduction
Every human being is born with life. But not everyone discovers why they are living it.
For many years, I believed purpose was something I had to achieve. I searched for it through education, career, business, spirituality, fitness, recognition and personal success. Every experience taught me something valuable, yet purpose continued to evolve as I evolved.
Then I realised something profound. Purpose is not a destination waiting somewhere in the future. It unfolds as we become more aware of ourselves.
Ravi’s lived observations
Many people confuse purpose with profession. A profession helps us earn a living. Purpose gives meaning to living. The two may come together—but they are not the same.
Purpose is deeply personal. It cannot be borrowed from parents, society, religion, culture or social media. It cannot be copied from successful people. It cannot be purchased. It has to be discovered.
When purpose becomes clear, decisions become simpler. Discipline becomes natural. Life gains direction. And every ordinary day begins to carry extraordinary meaning. Because a meaningful life is not built by chance. It is built by living with purpose.
Together We Explore
Questions to carry into your own life
- What truly gives meaning to my life?
- Am I living according to my own purpose or someone else’s expectations?
- Which activities make me feel fully alive?
- What contribution do I want to leave behind?
- If fear disappeared today, what direction would I choose?
